About Me |
As a child and even now, reading has always been my way of
escaping to different worlds and different times. I particularly
like historical romances, young adult fiction and fantasy. I have a
bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and am currently working on my
Master’s thesis, which I hope to get done at least within the next
thirty years. I love nature and have worked as a Natural Science
curator. When I am not reading or writing, I am usually painting,
drawing, practicing photography and hiking. Many weekends, I can
also be found dragging my husband to the movies. Beside romance
novels, I own many nonfiction books, especially on traveling and
history. I am currently trying to break into the writing business as
an author and freelance writer. I have lived in the Midwest my whole
life, but love to travel (especially to Britain). My dream come true
would be to live in a small cottage in England or Scotland and
support myself by writing! Then again, wouldn’t we all love to do
that!

Personal Reading Tastes |
What I'm a sucker for in a book: Humor is a big plus,
especially if it makes me laugh out loud. I love the moment when the
hero (especially alpha males) or heroine realizes his/her feelings
for each other. I also cannot help but sigh over dangerous
situations and wounded heroes or heroines.
What I don't particularly care for in a book: Romances
with too much historical information.
What drives me absolutely nuts in a book: Stupid
misunderstandings that could be easily solved, heroes who seem more
cruel than tough, heroines who are gorgeous beyond belief
(especially if that is all the author writes about), and heroes and
heroines who constantly fight.
