Untraceable by Laura Griffin is .99 at Amazon, B&N, Kobo, etc. I think this is the first in her Tracers series. I haven't read her before so I'm happy to take advantage of this!

Karleen Koen's: Through A Glass Darkly FREE at B&N & Amazon

Quote:

Sourcebooks Landmark proudly reintroduces this classic historical novel.

Karleen Koen's sweeping saga contains unforgettable characters consumed with passion: the extraordinarily beautiful fifteen-year-old noblewoman, Barbara Alderley; the man she adores, the wickedly handsome Roger MontGeoffry; her grandmother, the duchess, who rules the family with cunning and wit; and her mother, the ineffably cruel, self-centered and licentious Diana. Like no other work, Through a Glass ...

Not a Romance but a heck of a read.

I'm curious: does it have some sort of HEA?

I would say that it does not have a HEA in that it ends with another door being opened for the main character. It sort of has a Gone with the Wind type of ending. But there's a second book that picks up where this one leads off. I remember that I did quite like this book (read it years and years ago).

Lady Blue by Helen A. Rosburg
FREE courtesy of Medallion Press at B&N, Sony

Quote:
Written with humor as well as suspense, this love story depicts a young woman in captivity who yearns for her duplicitous lover. After the death of her affluent parents, Harmony Simmons loses everything—including her freedom. Forced to move to England and live with her domineering and jealous older sister Agatha, Harmony’s existence becomes restricted to the prim atmosphere of an English parlor, a stifling environment compared to the expansive American West of her former, privileged life. With her spirit crushed by her confinement, she meets Anthony Allen—a rogue who immediately falls for Harmony. He falsifies his inheritance and introduces himself as the suave aristocrat Lord Farmington. As they begin their romance, Harmony slowly recognizes the ruse behind his persona and starts to question whether her mysterious lover is a cavalier bandit or an honorable hero. Yet, his secret does nothing but ignite her passion for him as she strives to uncover his past.

Found this on Books on the Knob:

To celebrate the Queen's 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee, Mills & Boon, the UK franchise of Harlequin, are offering a flash sale of 60 titles for just 60 pence each between 9am to 9pm UK time on Saturday, June 2nd. Also, their Terms & Conditions page gives details of their other upcoming Diamond Jubilee promotions, such as every 60th customer getting their order free on June 3, the 1st 1000 orders placed after after 9AM (UK) June 4th getting a freebie copy Christina Hollis' Weight of the Crown and almost all titles in the store being 60% off for just 60 minutes from noon to 1pm GMT on June 5th. If you read romance and you use EPUB, all those add up to great deals (and you'll want to get your wishlist set up in advance if you want to take advantage of the 1 hour sale -- I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up crashing their server.
