Has anyone read an ARC of this book yet or heard/read anything about LK possibly changing direction in her writing--in addition to moving to contemporary settings, that is?
Amazon has a category of "self-realization in women" among other categories for RR, and the category for her next book, Dream Lake, is women's fiction.
Just curious if anyone has had a heads up on this. |

I have read that Kleypas has fallen in love with "magical realism" and that there is a supernatural element in her new series. I have also heard that the new series is more of a family story with some romance in it than an outright romance.
The covers alone are certainly very different from all her other books. |

| I love Lisa Kleypas's historical books but am not a fan of her contemporary work. I tried reading Blue Eyed Devil and Smooth Talking Stranger, however I wasn't that impressed and therefore haven't tried her other ones. I am interested to read people's opinions about RR once it is released, especially if she has gone in a different direction. I miss reading LK books and would love to find a new series of hers that I could get into. |
