Hello my fellow romance readers. I recently ordered this one and am halfway through. Recommended as another good historical western writer as I was looking for more like Ellen O'Connel.

Kaki Warner is really good too. I'm only half way through but I love the humor she brings to Heartbreak Creek. I'm only half way through and I would have liked a few more scenes of showing interactions with hero/heroin but it's still page turning worthy so no complaints there.

But had to ask for anyone that has read the Runaway Brides trilogy. Is there a fourth planned though it's a trilogy...lol

The reason I ask is because this is what Amazon wrote.
First in a wonderful new historical series starring four unlikely brides who make their way West.

So I automatically thought ok maybe each lady introduced will get her story. And I already was anxiously waiting to read the story of Thomas Stonewall and Prudence. I mean the set up was so good and rare. Pru being half white and black after the civil war and Thomas an Indian. I admit I was interested at times seeing where this goes more than the main couple.

But sadly looking at her website it seems only the three women get their own story. Maybe it wraps up in this book wich is why I should finish it first. LOL

It irks when you are so interested in the secondary characters and know it wont' go further.

I want to find more multi-racial books in historical romances but it's rare to find that both are from mixed backgrounds in this genre.

Looking forward to reading the rest.

The story of Thomas and Prudence continues through all three books. But yep, it would have been nice to see another book just about those two.

AHHH thank you that is really good to know. Wonder why she actually wouldn't do a fourth for just these characters as well.

Maybe its not considered as a popular sell by itself? Who knows but it's great knowing there is more to come. Wink
