| I'm looking for romances with manly men heroes. I like men to have short hair and manly features. Maybe someone like Dean Winchester/Jensen Ackles. I think he is so darn hot. I like paranormal, urban fantasy, thriller, or mystery romance. I don't want anything like erotica or borderline erotica but some sex is good. I don't mind the women being gutsy and independent either. I don't like mink women. So, know of any books like this? Any help would be awesome. : ) |

Linda Howard is pretty good at the "manly men" thing.
I agree Jensen Ackles is hawt
As for the paranormals, check out Nalini Singh's Psi/Changeling series |

| Mink women are women who lets the men take care of them. Can't think for themselves and is always in danger and the man has to save them all the time. They can't help themselves. |

From what I've heard about it so far, I think you'd enjoy Alpha Instinct by Katie Reus. It gets released on Feb 7. _________________ She is too fond of books, and it has turned her brain. -Louisa May Alcott |

| Except for the short hair part (some do, some don't), you might try Pamela Clare's I team series -definitely manly men, and the women characters are smart, attractive, and caring. |

Ah. Thank you. You might try Linda Howard, then. Although she does have one or two fairly quiet and self-contained heroines, I would not describe them generally as "minks". Kill and Tell is a cracker where the heroine looks after herself and has to turn around and save the hero. And a very manly hero.

Anything by Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick/Jayne Castle/Stephanie James. Her heroes are cast in the mold of Old West Gunfighters, Wounded Warriors, Get-the-Job-Done Pragmatists. Most do keep their hair short--an exception is the hero of Quick's Ravished--, are rarely handsome or especially tall.

You might want to try one of the Kat Martin books like Deep Blue or Hot Rain. I'd say these are both romantic suspense books, but from the other suggestions that I've seen here that I've read, she might be a good author to try.
She's also written some paranormal books as well but I've not yet read them.
BTW, I'm a massive Supernatural fan too |
