| It's in today's Guardian. It asks if you can tell whether passages of writing are written by males or females. It's titled the Naipaul quiz. |

| I got a 6 out of 10. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. I thought the Nicholas Sparks book was written by a female. How did you do? |

| I expected it to be more difficult than it seemed to be. I also got 6 out of 10 but flubbed a different author. As I was reading the passages, though, I wondered why I was even bothering. I didn't think the passages written by either sex were superior in any way to the others, and truthfully, I guessed several times and was lucky. |
