Has anyone else been watching this series? I am not sure I will be following it into next season but it has certainly been interesting thus far.

Here is my question: Should Alicia be honest with her kids about what is going on? And how much info is too much info for a child into their parents marriage/divorce?

In this case I think of real life political families and how Jenny Sanford's sons probably appreciated the heads up before the info was splashed all over the news. The way the press works it is pretty much a given for a person in the public eye - warn the kids before they read it in the tabloids.

But in the private sector, how much should be shared? Because mom and dads marriage effects their lives so much, how much access to info about it is too much access?

So -- thoughts?

I don't watch The Good Wife but I do sometimes work with family law attorneys. The older the kids, the more they probably can figure out on their own. And even the younger kids, in my opinion, have a pretty good idea about what's going on. I think sometimes kids deal with the divorce a WHOLE LOT better than the adults who nitpick about any little thing they can.

How to divorce a Filipino without going to the Philippines? My brother has a wife in the Philippines that he wants to divorce. He is in the US and cant go there anytime soon. He lost his job, like many people in the US, and cant afford to go there right now. He does not want to tie up her life being married to him. Is there a way for her to get a divorce without him going to court. He is willing to sign papers he just cant go there for a good while.
