Hope Tarr is offering Vanquished for free from 9/12-9/26.

This book got a B+ when it was first released. It is a novel of a photographer and a suffragrette in Victorian London.

It's really helpful to say *where* the book is being offered.... we don't all have the same ereader.

Thanks Minerva for this tip!

Willaful, I found it on Tarr's website. She advises that BN and Amazon will have it starting tomorrow 12th.

It's free at B&N already, not yet at Amazon.

Harlequin is having a sale where if you spend at least $20 you get $10 off and the coupon code is reusable. I went a little crazy with the Harlequin Treasury titles Embarassed

It's good for print books, too.

Quote:
In this final Summer Saver offer, spend $20 or more on any titles and you'll save $10! To redeem this offer, enter coupon code MINISPEND20 on the View Cart page for print books and on the Checkout page for ebooks.

Print book offer is valid until September 30, 2011, 11:59 p.m. EDT. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Not to be used with other offers or coupons. Valid in U.S. and Canada. Sales tax applicable in N.Y. Canadian residents will be charged GST. Orders subject to approval. Limit: 30 books per order.

Ebook offer expires September 30, 2011, 11:59 p.m. EDT. Prices are in U.S. dollars.

Shannon Mckenna's McCloud Brothers Bundle: Fade to Midnight, Behind Closed Doors, Standing in the Shadows, Out of Control, Edge of Midnight, Extreme Danger & Ultimate Weapon - Kindle Edition $30.39 for 7 books ($4.34 each)

I've liked some of her books but not all of them so I'm not sure if I'm going to buy them. I think I have to go back and read the blurbs to see if it's worth it for me.

The Mysteries of Udolpho by Radcliff and The Third Heiress by Brenda Joyce are free at BN.com. They don't appear as free if you look them up by book name or author, though. You have to go to Nook Books, Romance, See all, and then show from low price to high. If you set it up to see 100 books per page, they appear on the 2nd page.

They certainly make you work for it!

This weekend only, Fictionwise is offering 50% off all titles with coupon code 92311.

The code would likely be good until Tuesday.

I'm in the middle of this right now and loving it--one of her early books and light on the sensuality, but great characters and a nice, simple, well-written story.

I've also finished Conor's Way by Guhrke and Vanquished by Hope Tarr and enjoyed them both. Hooray that we can find good reads and don't have to pay a ridiculous $12.99 or whatnot for them. Smile

The English Witch, the follow-up to Isabella, is $2.99. I liked it much more.
