I love romance where the hero doesn't realize his love for the heroine until it is nearly too late. I'm not sure how to search for this type of Genre on the power search feature.
Any favorites/suggestions?
Thanks! |

I can think of two titles...The Black Lyon by Jude Deveraux. Medieval setting. The hero believes lies about his new bride and pretty much treats her like crap. Eventually, she is in a situation where someone is shooting an arrow at him to kill him and she pushes him out of the way, only to get shot herself. I found the book very frustrating in the beginning, but the hero redeems himself.
The Marriage Bed by Stephanie Mittman. American hisorical. Hero has lost his wife, marries again determined not to love his new wife. He lies to her and she finds out. I think she falls and hurts herself and leaves him. Can't remember exact details. He then decides he loves her. Good book. Not as frustrating as The Black Lyon. _________________ "As you wish"

The Viscount who Loved Me by Julia Quinn
My Fair Mistress by Tracy Anne Warren
Worth Any Price by Lisa Kleypas
There are a lot of romances with this theme, but these are the few I could think of. |

Thank you for the reply I don't remember if I read that one by Jude Deveraux. I loved Knight in Shining Armor, but got bogged down with some of her other Montgomery books. |

You might like Dreaming by Jill Barnett. The hero
doesn't realize he loves the heroine until the very end
of the book when she is in danger of dying. It is one
of my favorites. _________________ Why can't the evil just get jobs like the rest of us?-Veronica Mars |

| Thank you! It's so hard to know who to pick when there are so many authors out there. |

Try Toni Blake's Swept Away and In Your Wildest Dreams. Two of my favorite books. |

| One of the first romances that I read was Love's Encore by Sandra Brown. The hero doesn't realize his love until after the heroine is hurt by a mudslide (?) or earthquake. I think I like the book more out of nostalgia than anything else, though. |
