|
|
Since we're all interested in fairy tales, in one way or another, I received this one by email this morning and thought it was too cute not to share.
THE WORLD'S SHORTEST FAIRY TALE!
Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl, 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said: 'NO!' And the girl lived happily ever after
and went shopping, dancing, camping, drank martinis, ate
chocolate, always had a clean house, never had to cook, did
whatever the hell she wanted, never argued, didn't get fat,
traveled more, had many lovers, didn't save money and had
all the hot water to herself. She went to the theatre, never
watched sports, never wore friggin' lacy lingerie that went
up her ass, had high self esteem, never cried or yelled,
felt and looked fabulous in sweat pants and was pleasant
all the time.

Oh, Tee...I howled at this. (And I'm happily married, to boot.)
Priceless.
Must share with the world.

I'm happy, Jebe, that both you and Karen enjoyed that one. I laughed when I saw it this afternoon. How about that version as an alternate HEA? |

| "Oh my god!" the guy muttered. "What if she'd said yes!"--and drove off in his Porsch. |

Hope you get thru those dumps soon, cheri. Glad I was of some little help, even if just temporarily. |

My oldest(18)is in boot camp to become a Marine (Ooh rahh! Going into week . It's hard missing him and not having a lot of contact. We got a very depressing letter yesterday and right now he's in the middle of some qualification testing. Just missing him and wondering what's happening. It's been a long summer but it will be worth it to see him in October. Thanks for your concern. cheri |

| Oh, cheri, my thoughts will be with you. As he adjusts, I hope the tone of his letters improves also. Keep us informed. |

Having a son in the military myself, I can certainly understand the ups and downs. I'm sure you'll pull through fine, and in the end you and your son will be so proud! |

I'm already really proud of him. I know I'm going to have bad and good days. I know I'm in trouble in the next 4 yrs, I'm only just beginning. cheri |
