| Did everyone see the article about birth control pills falsifying pheromone reception? Certainly makes for a dilemma, don't you think? |

I've no idea what you're referring to -- where was the article? |

+IHS+
I SAW THAT ONE!!!
I can't find the link right now. If I recall correctly, it was about how women are naturally attracted to the kind of man they can have a great relationship with; but when they're on the pill, they become attracted to the opposite kind of man. Tragedy and broken relationships ensue, etc.
Until Dick brought it up again, I didn't give it much thought after reading it. _________________ "To be in a romance is to be in uncongenial surroundings. To be born into this earth is to be born into uncongenial surroundings, hence to be born into a romance." (G.K. Chesterton) |

Scientifically, 100 women is a pretty small sample size. I'd like to see this study done again with much larger numbers before drawing any conclusions.
It also doesn't state - at least in this article, I don't know about the actual study - which birth control pill the women started - there are so many different types with different hormone levels.
It is an interesting hypothesis.
I have to say, I was/am naturally attracted to a guy who is probably not a good match - I was attracted to him before I went on the Pill and am still attracted to him after I've been on the Pill for over a year. |
