I can't find the old thread on this topic so I'm creating a new one.
Haven't been reading much romance for months but for some reason I had fun posting and sending out my non-keeper collection on bookswap sites. Wrapping books up, sticking on stamps, and mailing packages off satisfies the OCD in me.
So I've built up some points on each site and can't seem to spend them! Not for lack of trying. Bookmooch may have a golden oldie or less popular romance here or there but not much else. Paperbackswap has a wider selection but the hot numbers are gone quick. Anybody else having trouble spending points?

If you're looking for a hot book or hard to find book on Paperbackswap, the Wish List feature is a must. I have gotten many out of print/hard to find books from the wish list - old Carla Kellys, the Windflower, Ashworth's Winter Garden, just to name a few. I had to wait a while, but I eventually got them. New, "hot" books always have a long waitlist (you can go on the waitlist well before the release date) but those lists move fast and you get most books fairly quick.
I have quite a few credits saved up on PBS, but just because I've got more than enough books to read right now and I haven't tried hard to spend them. |

Thank you for the tip, Beth W! Delayed gratification has never been one of my strong suits but I will try my best to be patient and use the wishlist function.
