| I just finished Julie Anne Long's "Perils of Pleasure" which was fun, but not a great novel, IMO. Not a keeper or a reread. However, it did capture the flavor of Victorian England beautifully and made me think of the GREAT movie, with Sean Connery and Donald Sutherland: "The Great Train Robbery." If you haven't seen it, GET it. It's so much fun and I can't think of a better movie that captures Victorian England. Wonderful, wonderful movie. |
