| The worst book that I have ever read has to be Obsession by Katherine Sutcliffe. It was so bad that I've blocked out most of it. The only thing that I remember is that the h was driven crazy and was crazy throughout the whole book. I shudder just thinking about it. I mean I've read books that I've disliked, but nothing as bad as that. |
This thread has been so entertaining that I feel like dropping by the UBS, checking cheesy-looking Romances for 80s copyright dates, and buying a whole bunch, just to see how bad they can be.
It's like the night my friends and I decided to rent Glitter and Crossroads. Some stuff is so bad that, if you can take it in the
"right" spirit, it's good!
I agree. Wish some of the really bad books listed here the readers could remember the titles. Do I dare admit I'm drawn to reading them ... kinda like slowing down for a car wreck. I'm wondering if a lot of them are Rosemary Rogers books. She was certainly over the top. |

I have not read Outlander, but one of the posters uses this quote from the book that makes me sigh every time I read it:
"When the day shall come that we do part," he said softly, and turned to look at me, "if my last words are not 'I love you'-ye'll ken it was because I didna have time.”

As I mentioned some posts back, we need to close this thread as it has far exceeded that which can be easily downloaded by some of our users. Please start another thread and continue the discussion. _________________ Lea AAR
