has anyone read His Dark and Dangerous Ways yet?

I love older Layton, but have been disappointed with most of her recent books. I'm wondering if I should go out of my way to get this title or just wait for it to turn up someday. There seems to be very little buzz about it.

I just finished it. I quite liked it, Both characters, hero and heroine were well portrait, their relationship, not "saw you and fell instantly and unrevocably in love", it built nice and gradual without being boring. Although, the villain was obvious to me, it still kept reading on to discover all the why's.

If you have ever had a daughter who took dance classes, you will find this book hysterically funny.

It reminded me so much of my daughter's first ballet recital, which featured the Mary Poppins bit in the park. I took my second son with me (my daughter was much younger). Afterwards, he looked at her and said with great solemnity, "Josie, you were the worst bird of all."

Hi All,

I read it last week and thought it was charming, gave it a B+ Subtle. The dance lessons were different from anything I've read that the story felt really fresh.
