Hey everyone!
I need some help remembering the title of a novel.. It's driving me crazy!
Here's what I remember of the plot:
It started off telling us that the heroine was in love with a titled man but he hadn't given her the time of day so she decided to get back at him. At a masquerade ball she dressed herself up as a cat and looked out for him. She had been informed that he would be dressed as Merlin. So when they crossed paths she led him to an alcove and there they shared some intimate moments. It was later revealed that the man she had seduced was NOT the man that had rejected her but another titled gentleman who now can't get her out of his mind...
Does anyone know what this sounds like?
Thanks so much for any suggestions! _________________ "Hush my love.. 'Tis but a ring and a plain one at that.."
