I got an e-mail from an author who has a book nominated for Historical Romance at RT. There are a lot of categories for historical romances: Historical Romance of the Year, Debut, Historical Love and Laughter, Innovative, Historical Fantasy/Paranormal, British Isle, Regency, Scottish, Romantic Adventure, Sensual, Knight in Shining Silver, Historical Fiction, and Indie/Self Published. Wow, It's a little overwhelming. There were some authors listed that were new to me. Some that I have enjoyed and didn't realize they have new books out. The year 2012 isn't up yet!

I also saw another author mention Good Reads Choice Award nominations. I didn't know they did awards.
