Kayne, I didn't know that Courtney Milan was releasing TWO books (this month--I hope and pray!), plus the book you cited! Yaay!
Do you know anything about the due date of her THE DUTCHESS WARS? I'm hoping it's still Oct. 18th. |

* The Duchess War by Courtney Milan - sometime this month, and the rest of the trilogy when she publishes it.
* The Second Seduction of a Lady (October 16) and The Importance of Being Wicked (November 27) by Miranda Neville.
* Aftershock by Jill Sorenson (January 1).
* That Scandalous Summer by Meredith Duran (January 29), though I'm a bit disappointed that it's a regency setting.
* The Wedding Fling by Meg McGuire (Cara McKenna) - January
* Ride the Fire by Pamela Clare (reissue, I think February); also the next I-team book - currently listed as coming out in March, but I doubt that will happen. |

I wonder if that one is actually coming out next month. I haven't seen a cover or blurb of it on Amazon or Goodreads. And nothing on Guhrke's site. Weird. |

B&N, Books a Million, iTunes and e-books all have it with that date but no cover or blurb. Goodreads has two ratings but no reviews. And allbookstores.com and google books list it with 384 pages.
On 9/6, LLG said on FB: "I finished writing my latest book nine days ago, so why am I still cleaning up my office? I didn't even know I owned this many research books, so how did they all end up on the floor? Maybe the cat and the dog have taken up reading?"
But then on her web site for coming soon, she has "When the Marquess Met His Match, Coming from Avon Books, Summer, 2013." AND the Avon site for its book releases in the next 90 days doesn't list it either. Very Strange indeed. Good catch. |

| I couldn't find a quick email address, so I decided to call Harper Collins in NYC to see what was happening with LLG's book, and they have it listed as a 11/15/14 release! So...they're going to look into it to get whatever is going on squared away. Sigh... |

I was about to say that! I really enjoyed the early Georgian settings of "At Your Pleasure" (I don't think I've read a romance set in that time period ever before). I wish Ms Duran continued exploring less overused settings in her books. |

I suppose regencies are what sells, and AYP may have been a disappointment in that regard. Sherry Thomas recently wrote on her blog that Not Quite a Husband did not sell well and Walmart wouldn't stock His At Night. Authors who take risks can pay a price for it, and then we get more regencies. Or maybe that's just what Duran felt like writing; she hasn't been tied to a specific time period in the past.
The only other romances I can think of set around the same time as AYP are the Kilgannon books by Kathleen Givens, but I wasn't a fan. Once you go further into the 18th century, there's a bit more to choose from.
Since some people have listed June releases, I'll add the next Between The Lines book from Tammara Webber, due in late spring/early summer. |

Sharie Kohler - Darkest Temptation - October 30
Larissa Ione - Rogue Rider - November 20
Kresley Cole - Shadow's Claim - November 27
Pamela Claire - New I-team - No firm release date
Linda Howard - Shadow Woman - Jan 1 (will rent not buy, she's become too iffy.)
Lara Adrian - Edge of Dawn - Jan. 22
Lisa Kleypas - Crystal Cove - Feb. 5
JR Ward - Lover at Last - March 26 - (will rent not buy or wait for PB)
I obviously need to expand my horizons a bit more because I have not found new authors to LOVE. I read a Jill Sorenson book that was ok. Reading a lot of backlist stuff.
