I am sure I've read a ton of these but my mind is completely blanking. I can't think of a single one with the exception of the Mackenzie books by Linda Howard. Any recs would be greatly appreciated.

Most of Kathleen Eagle's contemps feature a Native American hero. Her books are wonderful. A Reason To Believe is my favorite.

If you're including RS in that request, there's Naked Edge by Pamela Clare (Native American heroine), and Set the Dark on Fire by Jill Sorenson (hero).

Katherine Sutcliffe wrote one called Whitehorse, published in 1999. It's out of print now, but you can probably buy it second hand.

Sheri WhiteFeather has several novels with Native American heroes or heroines.

There are some (I think) Sil. Special Ed. books by Cheryl Reavis that I have enjoyed. You may be able to find them second-hand.
