Am I missing something here? Is there supposed to be another book that comes after "Pursuit" and before "Justice" [by Karen Robards]?

Because I finished Pursuit and started Justice, but in Justice I find out that Mark and Jess broke up because she caught him kissing Jess's boss. Say what?? I don't remember seeing that in Pursuit because that book ended with them together.

I just feel like I'm missing a whole chunk of story from somewhere.
