I'm putting this in Potpourri since LinnieGayl rightly notes that these aren't really romances. This series is marvelous on audio. I had such fun listening to Stephanie Daniels' performances. Watch out for the abridged versions, if it's not Stephanie, it's abridged.
I definitely agree with LinnieGayl's review of Cocaine Blues. The first three books are pretty formulaic, but after Murder on the Ballarat Train Greenwood seems to get more comfortable with her characters and gives Phryne more leeway to do what Phryne does. _________________ Binocular vision, no need to hop, and an ever-so-much easier time of it climbing ladders.
