| the heroine and hero meet at some point there is a shipwreck and they hide out from spanish? soliders and during a fever he rapes her but doesn't know he did - she is pregnant but he doesn't know it - when they find friends she is cold to him and they separate - later he finds out and is going to marry her but she miscarries - seems like her name was cirque or something like that |
