I would love to see a book that focuses on servants who sabotage their more arrogant and obnoxious employers.

You might enjoy Marion Chesney's series A House For the Season, then. Six books in all. The house and its servants are the recurring characters that link the six books. I'm having trouble recalling all the titles, but I THINK the first was The Miser of Mayfair, and the last was Rainbird's Revenge. Rainbird was the butler, as I recall. Very light. Might have been another one called The Adventuress. It's been a long time since I read them, but bits of it are coming back to me. The servants are being systematically ripped off by the agent who handles the house and they all get their HEAs by the end of the last book. Except for one who didn't want an HEA. Plain Jane was another title.. This is scary Shocked I'm remembering more and more. Enough! Back to work, but there's no emoticon for a cracking whip.

Thank you, Mark. We should have known they'd be somewhere on your inventory. I've read them all except The Wicked Godmother. So, given the advantageous exchange rate, and the fact that a copy was available at Amazon for the shattering sum of 99c, I've ordered one. Should be amusing and I can give that series a mental tick. It's annoyed me for years that I never found a copy of TWG. And, please - don't anyone bother telling me it's dreadful. It's too late; I've ordered it. Cool
