| Does anyone know where to purchase music videos/tvshows etc for mp3 players that are not ipods. We already use itunes, but they are not very co-operative with other devices. Thanks in advance. |

you can download from Napster, Amazon, mp3.com and rhapsody.com
There are others--you just need to google "how to download mp3" or something similar and sites galore will appear
There are also quasi legal download sites such as Limewire and the piratebay.org but you didn't hear it from me. You run a chance of getting viruses if you visit these sites. So beware of some sites. The piratebay usually gets shut down periodically by the feds. If you don't how to use bit torn don't go to Pirate bay. Limeware isn't fully legal either but lots of folks get their stuff from them.
Did you buy a Zune? |

Thanks for those suggestions, Karen. Amazon looks the best but it is only for US citizens. We purchased a Creative Zen for my daughter and I wanted to load it with music videos but they are very hard to find...I'm so spoiled by itunes, I didn't realize it was so difficult to find another source. OTOH, I'm very impressed with the Zen we got her...I like it more than my ipod classic. It has an SD card slot so space isn't even an issue, and a built in FM tuner, great video quality too. We should have went with another ipod...but they are allowed to use mp3's at school this year and wanted something a little less 'coveted' for her to take.
We stay away from the "sharing" download sites becasue of the virus issue. |

Thanks for the link, Rachel. I discovered that there is also something called itunes plus that is compatible with most mp3 players, but only for music, not video/tv. It looks like there is going to be a lot of converting involved...sigh.
I think you'll love your Zen! I've been playing with my daughters and just love it. |
