| Which books by Christina Dodd were good? I have not read any of her books but want to try one or two. Any recommendations? |

My all time favorite by her is A Candle In The Window, her first book. It's a DIK for me. More recently her contemporary paranormals are somewhat interesting. I could never get into any of her other historicals, to my disappointment. Lots of people like her, though, so YMMV. |

I think my favorite that also seems generally popular is That Scandalous Evening. _________________ "I say, don't read the classics -- try to discover your own classics; every life has its own." -- Rudolf Flesch, _How to Make Sense_ |

I liked my first Dodd title, My Favourite Bride. It may have been "wallpaperey," but it was heart-warming.
I found One Kiss from You to be an average read. Too much fantasy and not enough plot, but I generally adore stories in which self-effacing and overlooked heroines are championed by heroes who see the best in them; so I did like this one. _________________ "To be in a romance is to be in uncongenial surroundings. | Fav Dodd's include her historical "Rules of" Series which got good reviews here and IMO Rules of Engagement is the best, Once Upon a Pillow (an Anthology that got a B+ rating here) and a mideival, Knight to Remember. |

I liked the rules of series also, but my favorite was Rules of Surrender. I don't read a whole lot of her books though, because as an author she's hit and miss for me. _________________ She is too fond of books, and it has turned her brain. -Louisa May Alcott |

my favorite and the only one I remember from Dodd is "My Favorite Bride"
I actually had a post on this forum asking for recommendations on books with a similar theme to "My Favorite Bride". It was that good for me =] |

I know I've read a number of her books, and the "Rules" titles sound familiar, but I can't remember any of them. I guess that's a C review. _________________ JaneO |

| I've read a fair number of her books and they're pretty enjoyable. I have a few of the Rules books on my keeper shelves and particularly remember the one based on Sabrina. They're all around a strong B for me. |

| Candle in the Window is a DIK for me as well. If you like comtemporaries, her latest Thigh High is my favorite of a three part series. |
