I am sure I've read a ton of these but my mind is completely blanking. I can't think of a single one with the exception of the Mackenzie books by Linda Howard. Any recs would be greatly appreciated.

Most of Kathleen Eagle's contemps feature a Native American hero. Her books are wonderful. A Reason To Believe is my favorite. _________________ "As you wish"

If you're including RS in that request, there's Naked Edge by Pamela Clare (Native American heroine), and Set the Dark on Fire by Jill Sorenson (hero). |

| Katherine Sutcliffe wrote one called Whitehorse, published in 1999. It's out of print now, but you can probably buy it second hand. |

| There are some (I think) Sil. Special Ed. books by Cheryl Reavis that I have enjoyed. You may be able to find them second-hand. |
