I first learned about this authors books on this website. As of 2009, she said she was taking a break from writing. I just found out Elfhome , her third book in the elf trilogy (Tinker, Wolf Who Rules) will be coming out this July 3rd. Squeal of ecstasy! Can not wait to read it!

I love this series though the Ukiah Oregon books will always be special to me.

Any other fans still out there?

Baen ebooks are usually available the 15th of the month before the nominal release date. I bought my ebook copy of Elfhome last Friday. I haven't had a chance yet to read it.

I love the Ukiah Oregon books, and wish that Wen Spencer would write more about that world. I have read the Tinker books, but prefer Ukiah Oregon (I once met someone from Ukiah, Oregon and he must have thought how weird I was as I was trying to tell him the story!)
