I am curious. Has anybody here read this self-published e-book? It has lots of rave reviews and has gotten so popular that it has been optioned for a movie.

The cover is quite pretty.

I think it would make a great movie because it reads like one. The writing is kind of spare, but it's so action packed and exciting, it just pulled me along.

I think it's worth a try. It's a bit uneven, as one might expect from a debut novel, but I really cared for the characters and the fact that it tried to stray away from the romance conventions.

What a surprise "On the Island" turned out to be!! Really wonderful storyline and although I had my doubts, it all fell into place so beautifully. I would highly recommend the book and I'll definitely read more by this author.
