I know there is a thread for recently watched movies, but I just got home from seeing this movie and I LOVED IT. I wasn't sure if I would or not, being based on a Nicholas Sparks book and all, but I thought both lead characters did an excellent portrayal and let's face it, while Zac Efron, may be pretty, he sure is fine to gaze upon - heh, heh, heh.
I think many a fan of romance books would enjoy this movie. I know I did! |

Eh, I'm definitely anti-Sparks. I find the subject matter too over the top melodramatic. It would take a whole lot to get me to watch or read any Nicholas Sparks' works. I've been burned too many times before.
I will agree that Zac Effron looks mighty fine in the trailers for this movie.
