I am looking, quite desperately, for a historical romance that was reviewed here, I want to say in the last year. The hero was a titled peer (obviously) but he was, unlike most, not involved in any particular cause/company - even saying that he only joined the boards because he was a peer and they wanted him to sit there.
Can anyone help me?!

That sounds like the hero from "A Lady's Lesson In Scandal" by Meredith Duran. Try checking the review for that one and see if it seems familiar.
I thought it was a great book! |

Thanks ChrisReader! I'll double check since I definitely have that book, but I think that phrase I am looking for came directly from the review itself. The whole idea -- he's on boards just because he can be, I believe was typed by the reviewer!
I should really just start an Excel for the books I read, but I read so many I keep forgetting!
