It's been a few years since I read it so I'm going on memory but if memory serves *g* he isn't. I think his "owner" set something up once or twice, or someone in the circus took pity on him. But his experience is very limited. It's not very clear in that area, but that was the sense that I got.

What are you thinking of the book. This was a rare book that moved me to tears it was that good and that poignant. And thanks for bringing it to my attention as it's been a while since I read it and now I have a hankering to read it again Smile

I love a virgin hero too and have read some wonderful books featuring them but *chuckle* I'm wondering how you've found a years worth of them Smile

You could try baby steps up the experienced hero lader *g*. Tom, the hero of Bone Deep is the next best thing though.

Read faster? Smile That's how I got over my blind hero spree. I ran out of books!

Judy

P.S. A new book that came out yesterday has a virgin hero (yes, I finished the darned thing already!). Don't really consider it to be a spoiler and it doesn't have any bearing on the plot, but I'll white it out anyway:

"If I Fall" by Kate Noble
