| It was announced in the British press yesterday that a 3rd series of Downton Abbey has been commissioned. It will be set in the 1920s. Series 2 ends tomorrow for us although there is a Christmas special coming up. Series 2 has been good, moving at a very fast pace and Mr Bates's problems are still not sorted out! |

I'm so glad it's coming back. I've been watching Season 2 even though it's not on here until January on PBS, gotta love the internet!
This show is so great, I have to say I think it's one of my top 3 favorites!

This is great news. I loved DA Series #1 and am eagerly awaiting Series #2 when it airs here in the US in January. I have seen some of the trailers, interviews, etc. and it looks good. The carnage of WWI makes me wonder who will survive.
Jebe - How are you watching it before it airs here? Just curious.

And the day is saved! I've been sick for the past three weeks and unable to do much more than lay on the couch watching tv. I was starting to get a little bored, but if there's more Downton Abbey to look forward to than all will be well.

It was 8 plus the Christmas special to come in December. |
