| It was announced in the British press yesterday that a 3rd series of Downton Abbey has been commissioned. It will be set in the 1920s. Series 2 ends tomorrow for us although there is a Christmas special coming up. Series 2 has been good, moving at a very fast pace and Mr Bates's problems are still not sorted out! |

I'm so glad it's coming back. I've been watching Season 2 even though it's not on here until January on PBS, gotta love the internet!
This show is so great, I have to say I think it's one of my top 3 favorites! _________________ Why put off til tomorrow what you can put off until next week? |

This is great news. I loved DA Series #1 and am eagerly awaiting Series #2 when it airs here in the US in January. I have seen some of the trailers, interviews, etc. and it looks good. The carnage of WWI makes me wonder who will survive.
Jebe - How are you watching it before it airs here? Just curious. _________________ So many books; so little time!

And the day is saved! I've been sick for the past three weeks and unable to do much more than lay on the couch watching tv. I was starting to get a little bored, but if there's more Downton Abbey to look forward to than all will be well. _________________ Angsty romance with scattered humor.
