| I read today that 5000 children fall from windows each year; the fall kills 1% of them. But the article made me wonder how long it will be before windows or windows that open are banned as the drop-side baby beds have been. Any wagers? |

This is why you're supposed to have window guards if you have young children. Just like you should have child seats in cars. In NYC window guards have been mandatory for years. But it should be common sense - my mother put them up when we were kids long before there was a law. _________________ "My safe word is monkey" |

We have had at least 14 cases of children falling through windows this summer in the Mpls./St. Paul area. At least 4 were fatal. It seemed like a weekly report on the news of yet another child falling from a window. _________________ "As you wish"
