I am sooo disappointed in who is going to play Ranger -- Daniel Sunjata. "Dangerous" and "lethal" does not come to mind with this actor!

I can see it too. I was still watching Grey's Anatomy when he was on that, and I can see him as Ranger. The one I had a problem with..and sort of still do, is the guy playing Morelli. I pictured Morelli with very dark hair and Italian looking. The actor is attractive, but not as I see Morelli. Looking forward to the movie anyway. Smile

I had no idea they made this movie! I can't say I'm on board with any of the casting. I think the guy cast as Ranger fits better than the other two, especially if he bulks up a bit. Katherine Heigl? I picture her more of a snob princess than a brash Jersey girl, but I suppose she could surprise me.

Oh my goodness - Debbie Reynolds as Grandma Mazur?!?! That's one I wouldn't have guessed.

Wow, I just looked at the IMDB page. That has to be a list of the craziest casting jobs ever. Do you think the people casting it ever read the book?

I think the casting of Reynolds as Steph's grandma is sort of brilliant. When I read it the 1st time, I thought...perfect. Debbie Reynolds seems a bit eccentric in real life and puts that forth in her acting roles as well. Another good choice may have been Cloris Leachman. (sp?)
